| Mt ticker is going nuts!
Hello, I am new here, and I have been reading the board for a while. I am a 28 y/o male and in pretty good shape, but my heart has been acting nutty. I am going to the doctor next monday, but I was wondering if anyone has experienced anything like this or has any input.
My resting heart rate is higher than it should be, and at times it jumps to ridiculous rates for no reason I can figure out. I can't call it fluttering, because when it kicks in, it feels like it is pounding so hard that it is going to knock the fillings out of my teeth. Especially when I lay down, that is when it gets really bad, and it is constant. I don't really feel pain or numbness, but at times I will have a slight pain in my chest or around there, but I don't know if it's related to that or if I am just being paranoid.
It has been like this for about 10 years, but it has been consistent everytime I go to bed lately, and I feel it beating even when I am just sitting around. So how worried do you think I could be? Does this sound familiar to anyone? Thanks.
