I've posted a couple times on this board about having some problems after my catheter ablation for SVT. Its been over a year since the ablation which was in April 03'. Some of my problems have improved but are still there to a small degree.

The main thing I've been worried about the past few months is the chance that the doctors may have damaged one of my veins or arteries during the ablation. With my primary concern being that I may have an Abdominal Aortic Aneuryzm. The problem is I dont have health insurance and I won't have it until January.

The reason I became concerned about this is I was feeling my heartbeat in my stomach and I noticed that my stomach would move alot with each beat. I'm about 205 pounds 6'1 not fat but not skinny . I've also been getting some cramps and pain and wierd twitches and sensations in my stomach and I can't really tell if its my heart doing it or not.

Now I'm only 22 years old and there is no family history problemof this. I also understand that this could all be in my head and I have had alot of anxiety ever since my ablation. Jack51 replied and said that damage to the aorta is possible during an ablation. I cannot personally find any information about anyone suffering a damged aorta from an ablation. What exactly are the chances of this? It scares me to death and I freak out too much about it. Is there anything I can feel for in my stomach that might give me a clue as to whether or not I have a problem? Also when you push on your stomach should it be easy to feel your pulse? I can feel mine in the middle and about 1-2 inches left of my navel up close to my ribcage. Is this normal? Or am I just freaking myself out. Sorry this post is so long you guys.
