Very worried and scared...

Hey guys,

I'm a 19 year old male, about 5'5", 123 lbs. I exercise 3 times a week and my diet is a cross between healthy and unhealthy (I would give it a 7 out of 10 on a healthiness scale.)

Today, while I stretched my arms during the morning when I was reaching to do something, I felt a pain very slightly to the left of the middle of my chest. It was three sharp painful feelings of about 1 second long and they happened for 5 seconds or so, and then it went away. Then this happened again this evening. In the first case, I was merely trying to get some work done, and it could have been caused by my reaching for something far up. In the second case, I was simply sitting around, and when I stretched, the pain started. I'm pretty confused and would like to know what's up.

I'm really worried about this stuff, especially knowning that I take care of myself, mostly, and I'm extremely young to be getting heart problems. I sincerely doubt that the problem could have been caused by over-exertion, since I go to the gym and work out on full speed for long periods of time three days a week.

Re: Very worried and scared...

I know the feeling guys, I'm 19 six foot and 120lbs. And I experience wierd pains in my chest, and TERRIBLE off beats, all the time; even get dizzy. They can happen at any time too, but I notice them most when I'm nervous I get startled or scared, or when I concentrate on them. I eat fairly well, I do have a lot of stress being in final year of college. I've had every test in the world, and seen about 5 doctors with no answers. I've tried taking magnesium in different dosages to no avail. I wish we knew an answer it's very depressing.

God Help Us All!
