ive had enough now
Hi im 22 normal BP really health normally,8 weeks pregnant but before the pregnancy my pulse was hitting 190 for no reason i have medical records to prove it.........when i am stressed it can reach 210 and more why is this my gp is a absolute nonce so im not asking him............can this be normal i feel fine i just have a rapid pulse any ideas let me know
Also my father had open heart surgery and they found an extra artery could i have this problem too
i also have medical records of this too

Im not sure what kind of doctors you have that see your pulse at 180 at rest and not refer you to a cardiologist. I am also pregnant and my pulse also gets that high but I was told to go to the ER if it did not go away within 30 mins. Im not trying to make you worry but get to a doc soon.

Golly, ASHEA, hie thee to a cardiologist.

Resting heart rates of 190 - 200 are in no way normal. I have atrial fibrillation, and my heart rate goes to maybe 175 when I'm in afib. I would guess you have an arrhythmia of some kind. But please see a cardiologist, and find out what this is.

Yes, get thyself to a cardiologist ASAP. What you are describing is not normal. It may or may not be dangerous but it absolutely needs to be evaluated to see what is causing this condition.
