Arrow Irritating Medicine?

Has anyone else noticed what seems to be a correllation between the use of Aleve (naproxen sodium) and an increase in palpitations? It works wonderfully as an over-the-counter pain reliever for me, but after a few times I realized that my palpitations increase about the time the pain reliever starts to work (i.e. gets into my bloodstream). So needless to say I don't use it anymore. I'm curious if others have had problems with Aleve or other medications increasing symptoms, or if anyone has any insight as to why Aleve seems to "irritate" my heart?
