 Do I have a heart murmur?
Hello everybody.. I just want to know if anyone has experienced this or possibly has a clue as to what this is. Since I was little, once in a blue moon, I will get a tickly non-painful sensation in my heart that almost takes my breath away. It only lasts for a few seconds, and goes away. I have never gone to a doctor about it because I never thought it was anything serious. But lately, I have been getting this sensation more and more, somtimes five or six times a day. Today I had one that lasted awhile and it was extremely painful. It has never been painful at all before. Could this be a heart murmur perhaps? I am a 20 year old healthy female. I do not smoke, drink, and I am of a normal weight. I'm sure its not life threatening, and yes I am going to see a doctor, but maybe someone in the same situation could provide me with some reassurance.
