Hello...my doctor ruled everything else out. It always aches in a cycle. Usually around the time I would ovulate and then again when I would get my period. The menopause boards has a posting about symptoms and someone was nice enough to list them. One is aching in your wrists, ankles, knees and shoulders. Also I get aches in my left hand and my veins seem to swell there. This is also a symptom. I at first thought this was all my heart because the pain in primarily on my left side but I have so many more symptoms and I can exercise without the pain and no shortness of breath. So...hope this helps. I don't know if you have been to the menopause board but there is alot of great info there. Did you have your heart checked out? Hope you feel good. Happy holidays.
