heart disorder or not enough excersize?

Well.. I am 22... i used to play soccer untill 3 years ago. From then on i have been working and going to school and not exercising all that much. During certain exercises (weight lifting, running, even sex) my heart feels out of beat. when i lift weights for instance it raises its pulse. When i have sex it lowers it but it feels like its missing a beat perhaps? i have been to a doctor, they have done echogram and cardiogram on me and the results are: healthy heart. can this be happaning because i dont exercise? i am not overweight. I am not much sexually active either..
any ideas?

o ya.. i dont have chest pains or anything like that..

Re: heart disorder or not enough excersize?

If a cardiac echogram and an EKG have failed to register any particular abnormality, then you can be pretty sure there is nothing seriously wrong with your heart. Not being overweight is another factor in your favour. However, if your symptoms persist you should see the Doctor again. There are many types of rhythm disorders some serious, some benign. Do you smoke or drink a lot of alcohol and/or coffee. These substances can trigger heart rhythm disorders and are best avoided in any case. Why don't you try a little exercise (nothing too ambitious or time consuming) to see if this makes any difference. Even if symptoms do not indicate anything serious, you should find out the cause. Good Luck.
