Yes, a thousand times yes! I've been having a lot of chest pain since about June of '04. Right in the center of my chest, behind my ribs...the pain comes with/alongside the palpitation(s), so I'm pretty sure that's what it is. Really sharp/crushing/lightning-like pain. It doesn't happen with every palp, thank goodness. But it hurts enough to get my fingers tingling and so I see stars/feel like it might make me pass out.
I've had EKG's, an echocardiogram, chest CTScan, chest X-ray, 24 hour holter, Event monitor, thallium stress test, EP study, upper endoscopy, abdominal ultrasound, abdominal CTScan and HIDA scan. There is no clear answer for my pain, and the only thing I've been told is that it's A) GERD (non-erosive) or B) Palpitations - that are benign because everything else is normal. But these darn things HURT HURT HURT and I have no clear answer of how to stop the pain!
ANYONE have any ideas?
