| Update and a question
Hi all. Had my treadmill stress test today and everything went really well -- mostly. My heart is in excellent health, and my cardiologist assured me that the symptoms I've been experiencing are not heart-related.
However, going over the results of my echo, he mentioned that my aorta was a little bit large. He seemed unconcerned about it, saying that it could be bigger because I'm a big guy, but he said I should have an echo annually to monitor it and see if its getting any bigger. He didn't mention an aneurysm, so I don't know if he means my entire aorta has a greater diameter than average, or just a specific part of it, but I didn't think about asking him at the time. He said it's 4.3 cm in diameter, which, from what I've read, is quite big. Any ideas on what that could mean?
