I have been on TOPROL Xl 50mg for almost a year now.. it takes a while for your body to get use to the side effects. My side effects that took 3 weeks to go away were, Slow feeling, sluggish, tired, loss of appatite, heavy chest feeling at times, and you can FEEL your heart is slow.. all this goes away in a couple weeks, but once you get use to it, you don't even know your taking it. I TOO have PVC's, I still get PVC's on TOPROL, my other DR tried upping me to 100mg and that threw me for a loop, so I went back to 50mg, and I am in the process of trying new meds through my cardiologist.. but TOPROL is not a bad med, it's just not doing the job for me, so I am trying other options. I hope it works for you. But the side effects are REALLY normal for at LEAST 3 weeks.. you need to give it time to level out in your body.
