Nodules on lung after having heart surgery
My grandmother had triple bypass almost six weeks ago. She's been having trouble breathing that keeps getting worse. She went to the hospital and they found nodules on her lung. They said it's from her second surgery she had on her heart later that night to stop bleeding. Can nodules be something other than cancer? I'm really frightened. It was so hard to go thru the surgeries and now this. Does anyone have any info. All I find on the internet is cancer related. Please help! Thanks!

I don't know a lot about this, but I did have an aunt who had nodules in her lungs. They were not cancerous, but I don't remember what they said about them.
