Neck pain so worried about Mom? - Heart Disorders Message Board

hi i need help my mom has really bad neck pain on her left side, can this be a sign of a stroke? let me know what you guys think, she has been under alot of stress this week, I am getting worried and she refuses to see a doctor.
i am so worried, not sure what to give her so I have her an aspirin.

Jenny I would be difficult to say what is going on with your Mom with what little information there is. It could be muscular or even a viral infection. Heart blockage can also cause neck pain so it would be very difficult to even try to make a guess at what is going on with your Mom. When you mention stroke I would wonder does she have any numbness or headache or is her speech slurred?
