hi iv posted on here before but recently i think my palpitations have been getting worse. i get short palps; missed beats; extra beats; what feel like flip flops, most days. i also get long palps which last for about 5 - 35mins with dizziness & pain, i also feel kinda weird and sort of weak when i get these ones. usually i just get the pain around my left collarbone,(a kind of cramp type pain) but the last few times its also been sort of my whole chest as well (the same type of pain). the pain goes once the palps stop. one time i had 4 of these long palps which lasted about 5-10mins each time, in the space of about 2hrs. today its happened twice (again lasting 5-10mins) - usually its a few days or weeks between getting them. also recently iv been getting suddenly dizzy/lightheaded but not with fast plaps exactly - im not sure really how to describe it, it just feels like its beating 'wrong' for a second or two. i also now sometimes get dizzy with the palps that last a few seconds (though no pain). iv seen a cardio dr and he thinks it might be SVT (are these symptoms of SVT?). im waiting for an echo but theres quite a long waiting list. my next appointment with the cardio dr isn't till about sept (still waiting to find out exactly when, but i saw him in march and he said he'd see me in 6months & that i just have to put up with them for a while longer.) iv been having them for about a yr now. im 19 i dont smoke, drink alcohol or caffine. does anyone else get these symptoms or have any idea of what it could be/why im getting chest pain?
