I had this procedure last June for an ASD, but it was referred to as Cardiac catherisation. Although it was unsuccessful, as the hole was too big, it felt painless and I had no problem recovering from it. Hope that it goes well for you.
Yes to your question, I had OHS 8 weeks ago, which is why i spend my days surfing the net. The ASD was diagnosed two years ago, I am now 32 and had displayed very few of the symptoms. If you're facing some form of surgery try not to worry too much about it, I was totally freaked out but it wasnt as traumatic as i thought it would be.
Thanks for the reply, I am not worried about the procedure or any possible heart surgery i may need but i am worried about my current health and the fact that i am not totally convinced that this procedure will reverse my health issues. Guess i'll have to wait and see.
