Tests Negative/ What now?
I am a female in my 40s. Since last fall, I have been experiencing shortness of breath, heart palpitations and fluttering, occassional light headedness, occassional ear aches and a painful jaw, headaches, and sometimes a tight bloated feeling in my upper abdomen when I eat.
A lung function study was negative for asthma. An upper endoscopy to check my hiatal hernia was also good. I have had chest x-rays, CT Scan, echo-cardiogram... all good. After an abnormal reading on my stress test, I had a heart catheterization yesterday. There were no signs of blockage and the cardiologist said my heart is fine and there is nothing more he can do for me.
I'm thrilled that the cath came out normal. However, I still have all these symptoms and have no idea where to turn from here. Any ideas from anyone? Could there still be something heart related that the cath wouldn't reveal?
