Hey guys. I haven't posted here in a while, but I'm continuing to have some symptoms that are troubling, especially a loud, thumping heartbeat in my ears when I lie down.
Whenever I lie on my side with my ear on the pillow, every few seconds I'll hear one or two really loud, strong, thumping heartbeats, usually when I exhale. They're so loud that I'm unable to fall asleep on my side anymore.
I've had just about every heart-related test in the book, and they've all turned out normal, except for a slightly enlarged aorta (40mm), which the doctors seem to think is simply a matter of me being a big guy.
Any insight or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as this is rather unnerving, and the last thing I need is more difficulty sleeping.
Thanks.
