Hi,
Generally speaking a mild heart mumur does not warrant aggressive treatment, but the correct protocol would be to review the condition periodically for stability.
A more serious situation could be a malformed valve, a birth defect
that requires intervention. With proper treatment that can be corrected, if not corrected, there could be serious heart damage over a period of time.
Many times there are no symptoms until there is heart damge. You would be well advised to see a cardiologist.
