Ekg Normal Then Abnormal???
I had the following tests:
Done by Primary Care Doctor
1. First EKG - Normal
Done by Cardiologist
1. Second EKG - Abnormal
2. Echo Cardiogram (at rest) - Normal
3. Echo Cardiogram (stress after a run on thread mill) - Quote "looked suspisious possible heart scar"
and lead doctor to request another test (resting Myocardial Nuclear Perfusion test) which means they inject radiation into your arm (equivalent to 6 chest xrays )and take pictures of the heart to see if blood is flowing properly through the heart
Symptoms for 2 1/2 weeks:
Sharp Cramp like pains lasting about 30 seconds under right and left breast heart area occuring sporaticly
Has anyone taken Naproxen and did it fix their problem? If so how long did it take?
Primary care doctor prescribed naproxen (reduces inflamation and pain) it seems to dull the pain after taking it for about 2 weeks but its not gone per say.
Would anyone advise taking this Myocardial Nuclear Perfusion test being that it involves radiation equivalent to 6 chest xrays? I already had 2 chest xrays in the past 7 months.
Why would an EKG come out Normal
and then come out Abnormal a day or two later? Should I be concerned?
