Exaggerated heart rate (Brad to tach)

Hi,

Can anyone explain why I have such a slow heart rate when I'm relaxed (~54), but as soon as I do the slight movement like standing up my heart rate jumps to ~130.

I'm only 27. I have had mild hypertension (155/95) for some reason since my early teens, but getting it finally under control. I feel healthy otherwise. Just a little bit concerned, that's all.

Thanks guys.
