I have a long story I will try to make as short as I can.
I fainted with seizure like activity back in 1993. Then I started having loads of symptoms..dissasociation,chest pains, hot and cold flashes, heart palpitations,flutterings,skippings...on and on.I was then diagnosed with anxiety disorder, after seeing a neurologist, teo general practitioners, and a therapist.anyway, those symptoms except for fainting lasted about a year. Then I was fine for about 6 years. Then WHAM i fainted again only this time i was even worse afterwards VERY sick feeling.I had sweat from my head to my toes, heart pounding,id vomit or lose my bowels,to weak to hardly move, shortness of breath. The fainting and all those symptoms after happened to me again 3 more times within a year and a half.
Since it started I have had an MRI,EKG,EEG,CAT SCAN,HEART HOLTER MONITOR,BLOOD WORK NURMEROUS TIMES....always normal. This has been blamed on anxiety by a couple doctors i have seen.I do believe I have anxiety disorder BUT I cant seem to believe that the fainting with the horrid sickness feeling after is from anxiety.........i have always read that you will not actualy faint from anxiety.
So I guess I am fearful of a underlying heart problem.........so my question is has anyone else here experianced this,or something very simular? Any ideas ?
please do not worry about scareing me or making my anxiety worse.......I am looking for answers tired of being blown off by doctors.
thanks a bunch

Maybe it's neurocardiogenic syncope. With that you can have what they call convulsive syncope, it looks like a seizure and sometimes it can cause one. To diagnosis it they use a test called the Tilt Table Test. Also, you can have a normal EEG and still have epilepsy. I have been diagnosed with both NCS and E, and we just got done a 15 month test (Reveal ILR (insertable loop recorder) to see which spells are from which diagnosis, they can be so much alike.
