| Wandering Pacemaker
We are considering adopting a 9 yr old boy (from Russia), and have been informed that he was hospitalized in June after his heart along with his breathing stopped and he lost conciousness. His medical report indicates a wandering pacemaker. Upon hospitalization, his heart rate was 53-79 bpm.
Two days later his heart rate returned to normal. His treatment is Riboxini. According to his medical history, he has no cardio problems
This sounds very scary and i would be extremely appreciative if someone familiar with this diagnosis can shed some light.
