| pericarditis
I've had pericarditis for 4 months. NSAIDS and steroids are not reducing the fluid. Idiopathic, accompanied with acid reflux...going to a gastro doc next week, anergy panel (TB and such) next week...tested for lupuis, and next its referral to a surgeon. I am 45 and completely healthy. Surgery?????
Surgery is listed as a cause of pericarditis, and why would you operate when you haven't figured out why the fluid would not go away and risk it coming back after surgery.
I'm thinking Cleveland Clinic and convincing my insurance to cover it?
Anyone been down this path?
Nightmare!!!
