Anyone ever hear of this? What do you know about it? Who would diagnose it?

I think you mean a vasovagal reaction to stress but Im not sure. Did you break out in a cold sweat, get dizzy upon arising, feel nauseated and even possibly faint or rarely have a seizure? Not everyone gets all these symptoms but it tends to happen to teenagers more than older adults in a scary situation like giving blood. It can happen to older adults. It tends to happen to people with blood pressure on the low side to begin with. Let me know would you?

I myself have not been dx with this. Someone I heard of has. I found it very intersting because I have been talking about something like this with my psychiatrist alot lately. I have a tachycardia as well as anxiety and some other symptoms (low BP as well). He believes it is all connected and stemming from the heart. He says that in a matter of years I could be 'cured' of all of this with a vasco vagel nerve stimulator. I doubt I would actually do it because the thought scares the poo outta me...but still...I find this so interesting. I have always thought that so many of these maladies were related and caused by some type of faulty wiring in our bodies. I see so many ppl with the same issues...anxiety, IBS, tachycardia, fibromyalgia, Chronic fatigue, GERD, migraines......so when I heard about this gal being dx with this disorder, I was interested and surprised. I found NOTHING on the internet about this particular disorder.

I think it's actually called vagus nerve disorder? Which may be why you didn't find any info.

It could be the vaso vagal response, also known as neurocardiogenic syncope or reflex. Some people get tachycardia and that can be a trigger (me for example). I don't know anybody who got the vagus stimulator for it. It usually is treated with beta blockers, some cases need pacemakers. Try looking up dysautonomia. A TTT (tilt table test) is used for diagnosis. A cardiac electrophysiologist (EP) does the test.
