Low blood pressure..why?
I'm a 41 year old female, yes I'm overweight, have high cholesterol. I take Diovan for blood pressure (have for months) and Vytorin for cholesteral. My bp has been running around 130 to 140 over 80 to 90. Almost 4 weeks ago while at the Dr., my bp was 102/60.. i was shocked. Yesterday was at the Dr. and bp was same. I have acid-reflux and take prilosex daily..yesterdays visit is for a cough I've had..I have no breathing problems or shortness of breath...having a pulmonary test friday and an endoscope on saturday....

I'm having no dizziness or light headedness when standing or anyting..scared about low pressure. Any ideas?

102/60 isn't too low, mine is like that a lot of the time, and it doesn't bother me. It's strange though that suddenly it should be this low. Maybe ask your doc if you can lower the dose of your BP meds if this low BP continues?

Does the diovan work for you? Has it caused you any side effects? my main concern is hair thinning I was on Toprol and it caused my hair to thin.
