Ablation is such a safe procedure. The risk of complications is less than 1% and the risk of death is even lower than that. It's extremely unlikely that anything bad will happen to you, and even more unlikely that you will die. Normally you aren't under heavy drugs during an ablation. You're not usually under general, you're usually just sedated, so that's something you shouldn't have to worry about.
