Hi Kathy,
An enlarged LV is an abnormal measurement distinquished with an EKG. "Hiccups" or (blips, as seen on a screen) are a series of minute variations. Probably double current produced in a heart muscle by a single impulse. May or may not be a rhythm problem, ...it is almost always benign, and it is not an unusual event.
