I usually have a heart rate between 65 to 80. Right now I have mine at about 90-100. I have a cold right now is it possible to it be a bit faster because of the cold.

Yes, I believe so. A heart rate of 60-100 is known to be normal, from what I have heard.

Are you taking anything for your cold?? MOST cold medicines contain a stimulant ingrediant of some kind. But I would not worry anyway since your resting rate is still 100 or less. You may want to nix the meds with psuedenephrine ingredients (usually the decongestants) and cut out caffiene if it is making you feel uncomfortable. I personally will not take ANY stimulant or drink ANY caffiene. I do have my chocolate tho

Because your body is fighting some kind of infection, your heart will beat faster. Also, as the other posters mentioned, some cold medications may cause your heart to be fast too. I recently had a stomach virus and my heart was racing for a whole day! It was very annoying.
