Hello, I am new here and hopeful to get some advice that I can use. I have posted one other place here today and that was in the inverted p wave thread. I forgot to mention there in that thread that I have frequent pitting edema in my left shin and foot. Sometimes it is really bad and looks like Fred Flintstone's foot. When it gets that bad, my right foot will be just a little puffy. It comes and goes as a phantom just like the intensity of my heart racing, pounding or extra beating with pauses.... It really does affect my life. I also kick in my sleep and sometimes have the uncomfortable restless leg crawlies.

I do hope someone can offer suggestions and/or reassurance. I have seen cardiologists, homeopathists, chiropractors and acupuncturists.....all to which have not proven to be a cure. I do not know if I should ask for an invasive procedure to be done to determine if there's a need for re-routing signals etc... I do not take any medications. I do take supplements from time to time. I eat a pretty well-balanced diet. I am not a junk food junkie. I do drink caffeine in coffee and iced tea. Social drinker and smoker. And sometimes when I am in that social setting, having a beverage and a cigarette, my irregularities are gone temporarily. What in the world should I do???
