its me again. last question

ok i posted earlier. anemia is NOT whats going on with me.

Ive been "slighty" on and off dizzy since monday. not enough to faint or effect my walking or driving. i noticed my heart rate goes anywhere from 86 to 112. 112 seems to be when i am up and walking or carrying laundry. yesterday at rite aid bp checker said my pulse was 143!!! i returned home about an hour later hurried in the house to check and it was 112.tonight i stopped to have it checked and it was 114 but i felt nervous and i think thats why.

3 weeks ago i had a EKG and chest xray all is normal. I worry about my heart rate is that normal? is there something else that could be causing my slight dizziness? i went back to doc today he says its not cardiac and he did anemia test and now im waiting on electrolytes test. Low pottassium maybe? something isnt right. im so tired. i even thought maybe my tiredness was causing me to feel "slighty dizzy" havent gotten much sleep lately. my daughter has been getting up super early for feedings and my sleep is always disrupted. maybe 6 to 7 broken hours a night. maybe me worrying about my pulse is whats making it race but my BP is normal. i bought a home checker yesterday. im 28 years old. Anyone?

Thanks

hmmmmm, I am not a Doc, However, I think worrying about your pulse rate might just make it that higher. It is like the old saying, "Dont think about the pink elephant, of course, what does one do, thinks about the pink elephant.
I truly think in your case, it is not heart related. I know when my kids were really young and my sleep pattern was those crazy nights and mornings, I wasnt the same. I know you dont want to hear this, but, it could be lack of sleep along with a little stress. But, you know your body and you are headed in the right direction by getting your electrolytes tested and other tests done.
in the meantime: take some B's vitimans that will help your energy level B12 is a good one. I had my first at 27, so, I know how it is at this stage. I am now 35 and sleep still has never been the same...Good Luck to you.

I am not sure if you mentioned it, but what blocker do you take? I have Pac's ever since my first son was born. They are getting worse as I get older and the cardio wants me on blocker.....To this day they still sit. I am scared to death of the side effects.
Thanks.

Re: its me again. last question

im on a generic brand of inderal. They say the most common side effect is dizziness but i have never expirienced it while taking it. Propranolol its called.

I just took one about an hour ago and ive been steadily walking and my rate has been down to about 81 to 86 THANK god!! of course i was telling myself "ok i just took the beta blocker my rate will slow down" so now im wondering if all this IS anxiety related.

When you say PACS is that when you feel a flutter? like your heart is skipping? i started having those after my son was born 8 years ago and was told caffeine was a major cause. ive been off all caffeine for almost 3 weeks now and drinking alot of water and maybe have only had a few of them since then. But the weird thing is ever since ive been so worried about my fast pulse i have not had one missed beat. maybe it is all in my mind. im just glad its down to normal. and i feel a bit calmer. I recall this all happening when i started taking topamax for headaches. i later found out it has a side effect of anxiety. so i stopped taking it. ive been off it for about a month then when headaches came back i started it again. i only took it for 3 days and have not had it for the last 2 days my doctor told me not to take it anymore. so i wonder if this is all linked together. i have never been one to worry like this. my headaches have been an on going issue for many years. i had a ctscan 10 years ago and all was normal but when i was at the dr he says i have TMJ which could be big cause of headaches. my left side of jaw is really really bad and thats where my headaches always are. only on left side.
