Blurred vision & Light headed,sitting up? - Heart Disorders Message Board

While I was laying down noticed my vision getting a little blurry.I sat up a little to fast and got light headed. I am on lisinopril and coreg and know about sitting up to fast but this kinda freaked me out. I took a BP reading and it was normal range 116/65/75,my vision cleared up but still feel a little off (nerves).Could coreg be messing with my blood sugar?

Just an anecdote.

I was on Norvasc and atenolol for a month a couple years ago...during that month, my vision got very bad and I thought it had suddenly become time for reading glasses. I was furious at the gods of aging.
When I stopped these two drugs my vision miraculaously returned to normal

I think it might have been the atenolol weakening the tiny eyeball muscles that pull the iris into focus. That could be your problem with the carvedilol because both are beta-blockers.

I've never read about the phenomenon but it is definitely food for thought.
