Does anyones heart ever "quiver", like a muscle spasm? - Heart Disorders Message Board

I am 35 female, have had pac's and pvc's for 10 years now. In the last few months I have been getting spasms in my heart, where I can feel it quiver, last night it did it twice, followed by 3 skips (trigemy?) and them my pulse went up to about 120 for 5 minutes. My mother is an RN, who was here when it happened, and she acted like it was no big deal. It is to me tho, it didn't feel good, and I felt faint. I just wanted to know if anyone else has had this happen. BTW, I had an echo, holter monitor and ekgs done, with the cardiologist telling me I'm perfectly healthy. Thanks for any replies, Michelle

I have the same quiver thing going on right now. Perhaps it's a little A-FIB. I've been very up-tite this past week with other health issues and NOW my heart has to act up. I've had pac's and pvc's for 40 some years. On beta blocker and anti arrythymic drug. Sometimes, they just don't work. First thing this a.m. upon arising, my heart went into a period of just quivers and skip, skip, quiver, scared me terribly. Hurried to get my Inderal. Has been doing it on and off all day. I also have had all the tests, and you'd think after so many years.......I'm still here. At least you have you mother, a nurse, telling you it's ok. Good Luck J

I have had quivers before.The last one I had was pretty big scared me pretty well.I was drifting off to sleep when it happened and I jolted out of the bed.Anyway, I am obviously fine.I had a holter monitor done months back just some PVC's showed up doc said ..of no real concern.
