I am male 41, recently had echo with "Mild Tricuspid Regurgitation".
Is this normal or anything to worry about. I have been having dull chest pains on and off for about 2 weeks. I suffer from Anxiety. Would this cause PVC's etc.
Please only reply if you have had some experience with this as far as what the cardio has told you!
skorpion.. I am well now 28 was diagnosed with mild tricuspid regurg last year, as well as trace prolapse and regurg with all of my other valves. My cardiologist X 2 have told me that it is nothing to worry about, that I dont need to take any medications for it. The only thing I need to do is take prophylactic antibiotics when I have things such as dental work done. I do have atrial tachycardia, SVT, sinus tachycardia that is very poorly controlled but they do not feel that they are all related to mild regurg. I doubt highly that this is the cause of your PVC's. Hope that helps ya.
Haven't seen you on AIM? Hope your ok. I have mild triscupid regurgitation, along with another one (can't remember what it's called) and also mild mvp. My Dr.'s are not concerned at all, I don't have to take antibiotics for mine, and they also don't feel it contributes to the pvcs. Hope to talk to you soon. BTW, happy birthday! Michelle
