| prednisone and heart rate
Hey everyone, i have Ulcerative Colitis and during this flare of it that i am going through now my gI dr put me on 60 mg of prednisone. i have been on it for a few weeks and have went down to 50mg. i also have MVP. my heart rate is always between 90-115 sometimes it goes up to 130 or higher. I was wondering if this is because of the preds i am on, it is making me anxious all the time. waking up and my heart racing like all day long day in dfay out. any advice?before taking these meds my heart rate was always in the 70's and 60's. i did make an appointmet with a heart dr though in the next couple weeks.
