OK.. if this sounds farmiliar to anyone I would REALLY appreciate a response.
Before last year I was not very active at all. No sports in high school, worked out a little bit but not often. Well, at the end of last year, I decided to go on a diet.. I admit, my eating habits were not very smart. I had an episode while running which they diagnosed as AVT, during which my pulse shot up to about 250 and continued to race for about an hour. They also mentioned signs of Wolfe Parkinsons White. Well, after a few weeks and getting my eating habits back to normal, I was fine.
A few months ago, I began having issues with anxiety as well as asthma. Before being diagnosed, I had numerous EKG's and an echocardiagram in order to rule out any heart problems. All came back "text book perfect". I was diagnosed and treated for both conditions and began feeling well again.
Then, just recently I started a VERY active job and lost quite a bit of weight. Once again, my eating habits turned not-so-good and I experienced another episode (my pulse hit about 140 but EKG was perfect). They diagnosed it as AVT, and I am (as we speak) wearing a 48-hour holter monitor to be sure.. but my question is this: Do these sound like regular AVT symptoms or could it be related to (as I highly suspect) my unsafe eating habits? Or does it sounds more like WPW?
