Hi all:
I went to had my ICD check-up on and everything was fine but if I am
still having pain by next week the doctor said as the last restort he
would do surgery. Not sure what he would do with the device though. I
went to my PCP as well cuz the ICD doctor send me there so my PCP send
me home with some aleve. If aleve doesn't work then I will be having
surgery.

Implantable Cardiac Defibrillator?

If I remember correctly , yours MOVED and is causing pain?

Aleve is a good analgesic but I doubt it will help much for you.,,and you can't take naproxen forever.

Yes that is correct it is an Implantable Cardiac Defibrillator I have had it for 2 and a half years. Take Care

Hey Leah..just wondering why you have this in the first place. Do you suffer from v-tach? I have v-tach. But the h/rate is slow v-tach. . how do you feel about the icd? Pleae be honest and do not spare me!!? Do you regret geting it? Does it ever fire off and it's not really a serious arrhythmia? Thanks..hope all is better for you.

Hey There,
I have V-Tach. It never gone off before. I am still in pain with the defibrillator I am seeing the surgeon on thursday but am gonna call tomorrow to see if I can get in sooner The surgeon just wants to check the ICD and take a look at it. .
