What does it mean when your heart beats in your stomach…like, you can literally see the skin on your stomach beating and moving, and to the extent that it moves your hand if you rest it on your stomach…but when you feel your chest area, there is absolutely nothing…no movement at all…what does this mean? Why would this happen? It doesn’t happen very often. I tend to feel weird and light headed when it does.
Nothing to worry about Stevie. What you are observing is the pulse from the aorta, the major artery. When the abdomen is distended by food or drink, the pulse is more obvious there than in the chest. Be happy.
I get that also, you can get some skipped or fast beats from the vega nerve. Someone told me to use otc ant- acids and it works. I had it for two weeks 24/7, was driving me even crazier. I felt like I swallowed a big fish.
Try the ant-acid sees if it helps, Linda
