Around 4:00am I woke with a strange feeling like there were butterflys in my heart. Not Palpatations, I know what they feel, but the butterfly feeling. I also had no pain but couldn't get comfortable enough to go back to sleep. I have been having back problems lately and now this right out of the blue. Can anyone relate? Thanks. PS I have a call into my cardilogolist and waiting for a call back. The fluttering has stopped. Thx

Most women get these periodically over the years and it's rarely anything to worry about. You might want to have some basic tests run to make sure everything is fine. But if it isn't constant or regular, it's most likely nothing to worry about. I've had them before and I think pretty much every woman I've ever mentioned it to in my life gets them periodically.

Thanks for the reply. I did go my cardiologist this week and he performed several heart tests, including a stress test. So far I haven't heard anything from him, so I would assume that is good news. I have a follow-up appt. next month. So we'll see. Thx
