What is the difference with these two tests? - Heart Disorders Message Board

A echocardigram and an echocardiograph? I just had a a echocardigram done, no results yet so I am assuming it was not bad. The tech did tell me my EF was 63%. My friend had a echocardiograph done and said it is a different test but described the same test I had done.

Did a net search search and found nothing. I did see a few sites that said they can find cad in a indirect way on a echocardigram. What is your opinion?

I think the terms are usually used interchangeably but they really SHOULD'T be...a "gram" is usually a picture and a "graph" is usually a representation via a table of numbers or its graphical equivalent.
