 Need help from caregivers to chf patients
My husband has congestive heart failure.He found this out in 1999 and was told that he had 3 months to live and was sent home to die. He found another Dr. that helped to save his life by inplanting a pacemaker and defibulator. This has helped up to this point.Now he has a pump that pumps medication straight to his heart to give time to find another heart.
I have the responsibilty of changing out the medicine every day + making sure he takes all his oral meds correctly.
I have known him for about 10 years but just recently got together.I have liked him from the first time I met him and am now truley in love with him.
We have only been with each other for 14 months and married for 6 months.
Here is my problem.
I am so scared I am going to mess something up and I could never live with myself if something happens to him.
Does anyone else have these thoughts?
