Palpitations - Good success with aspirin + magnesium
For what it's worth I have had heart palps for about a year. I do not have heart disease. (there should really be a forum for just benign palps)
I recently started taking a multi-vitamin despite my doctor doing blood tests for deficiencies which came back normal. I noticed that my multivitamin only has 25 percent of the daily recommended magnesium so I bought some separate magnesium pills.
I have been suffering headaches too, so I bought some Excedrin Migraine which has 250 MG of acetaminophen, 250 mg of aspirin and 65 Mg of caffeine per pill. (I only take one a day).
Well I have noticed that my heart rate is slower and less unstable as before. (and by unstable I don't mean irregular).
So PERHAPS the vitamins, magnesium or aspirin are helping my palpitations.
Re: Palpitations - Good success with aspirin + magnesium
I take Magnesium and Coumadin for my heart as well as Beta-Blocker for AF.
But if I take even a bit of Codein or coffein - my heart would prevent me from sleeping or leave even that is how sensetive I am to any stimulants. I honestly don't have any relieve from all I take. Hopefuly they will find something else for me.
Even my PK (I had spinal fusion) have to be any stimulants free.
I am glad you are doing better!
