Heart artery/vein size
My wife, approaching 70, great condition, was having (once in a while) shortness of breath. This could happen with minimal effort. Then could do garden work for hours with no problems. Doctor visit resulted in a battery of tests. Stress test yielded a possible blockage on the left side of the heart. An angiogram found no blockage, heart in good condition, but the arteries/veins on the left side of the heart dramatically smaller than on the right. Ratio approx. 3 to 1.
Direction: increase physical activity to get heart rate to 120, 2 hrs, 3x per week, which should enlarge these arteries.
Does anyone out there have any knowledge/experience with this condition?
Thanks
