I have MVP, but I don't have anxiety or panic attacks. There are some people who go on medications for their MVP - there's a good, long thread on this that's probably on page by now. It contained a lot of good tips for dealing w/MVP. I've been fine w/o medication so far - sometimes I get palpitations or PVC's or chest heaviness, but it hasn't affected my life greatly.

I was diagnosed when I was 30 and my Dr said then as you get older it seems to calm down a bit. I'm 55 now and get palps very little but I do suffer from episodes of anxiety and panic still. I take xanax when needed and tenormin.
