My questions is about a skipping heart beat. My friend has this. He is 70 and had angioplasti done 5 years ago.
He just had 3 ekgs and a nuclear stress test done.
I can not understand that nothing showed up.
But he lays around and is scared to continue his walking or other activities. He is afraid that he will drop dead.
Does anyone have any advice? I did make a appointment with his Internal Medicine Dr. His cardiologist did not adress this problem .
If your friend had all these EKG's and a stress test and the tests came out okay he should not worry so much about the skipped beats. Many people have them, I have them already for many, many years. Some days are very bad and I have numerous within a few hours, other times I go for a few weeks with hardly any. I'm a 74 year old female, also do lots of fast walking and biking, my cardiologist told me the skips a benign and to keep up my walking.
