Post Heart rate 138 Dr's can't dx cause

I posted below about my mothers problem but failed to mention that she is on synthroid for her thyroid,Dr lowered dosage last week because thyroid was too high, Mon at Er thyroid level was good. potassium was low, put her on potassium and Wed at Er the level was good. She says there is no need to take her back to the ER when her rates goes so high anymore because there is nothing they can do until they figure it out, But when it goes so high she is lifeless and pale and can barely hold her head up, what should we do???
