 Quad Bypass Surgery - Complications
Hello,
My father is 76 years old and just had quad bipass surgery three weeks ago. He has been in ICU ever since surgery and has experienced every complication one can encounter, from internal bleeding to water in his lungs etc. He now has been on a resporator for three weeks as well. The Doctors have tried repeatdly to remove the respirator from his throat but find that he is not strong enough to breath on his own accord. Can anyone tell me why his condition is not improving and perhaps what one can expect from such complications as he has had. Thank you kindly for any response!
