Unhappy Absolutely Pertified............Please read & Reply

I am sooooo scared..........I am 29 years old female with no previous heart problems ever.
But during my last pregnancy I developed severe palpitations (about 20 per minute) all day and night. had a n echocardiogram done - fine, ECG just showed the palpitations bur no other abnormalities. The cardiologist diagnosied benign premature ventricular contractions. But I the started to get near fainting episodes maybe every day and then none for a week or so. No particular pattern just wham and that would be it. At first this was attributed to a vasavagal response......then anemia. As soon as the baby was born (he is now 7 weeks old) they said that the palpitations would go and the near fainty episodes, well the palp's have almost disappeared but not the near fainting episodes. I ahve become sooo scared that I do not leave the house by myself etc etc. i went to the GP today and I felt pretty dizzy whilst there and my pulse was irratic and dropped to around 50 - then I got really scared naerly had a panic attack and my pulse came up to 120. She is wondering if I am getting bradycardia ..........ahhhhhhhhhh.............am i not far to young for that problem?????? I am sooooo scared...I do not want to die....what makes it worse is I read that if thats the case you may have to get a pacemaker!!!!!!!!!!!! Please help me.reasure me.....any one else got this???????

Please visit this website: 4hcm.org. It is mainly for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, but they are a wealth of info on other heart related issues. The moderators are wonderful and confer with doctors. PLEASE DO NOT WORRY! It's easy to say, but maybe it will just take medication(s) to help control this. Have you had a stress test or echocardiogram?? This would be very helpful in diagnosing the problem. take care
