Post Pulse Rate

My resting heartrate is 83 bpm. I do not smoke or drink caffinated drinks. Every one else I know has a pulse rate of about 70.

Is mine too high and should I get it checked out? I don't want to go to the Dr and appear crazy!

Thanks!

Pulse rate has a big variable, and normal range is anywhere between 60-90, so you are in perfect range.

Unless it goes over 100 AT REST AND STAYS THERE, does it classify as abnormal.

Don't worry-your rate is fine.

Can I have your resting heart rate? lol. Mine is usally in the 90s and sometimes over 100 all day. My resting pulse is around 80 or 90 something. I am only 16. My doctor said it is normal for some to have a pulse rate around 100.

My resting HR has been as high as 140 before, and 160 while standing. I have severe tachycarida, and dream of the days when it's down to 83!
