Are my palps different to everyone else's? - Heart Disorders Message Board

A lot of people i know describe palpatations as just a fast heart beat, but mine isnt like that. If you can imagine your heart beating, this is how it feels, boom boom boom boom BOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOM boom boom boom. It beats normal then has a string of beats that go really fast, then back to normal.When im getting these fast beats inbetween, i also feel light headed.

I get those sometimes but not as often as I get like a FLOP feeling in my chest.

To me if feels almost like it skips a beat then takes a really big beat. A lot of people describe different feelings for the same thing. I have also felt the flip flop feeling. It definitely grabs your attention, but usually is nothing serious.
