I need opinions...PLEASE! - Heart Disorders Message Board

Today when I was in class, my heart got like this stabbing pain and it took the breath out of me, and then it went away right after that. I'm only 15 so I'm kinda scared it could be serious. A year an a half ago I got an echo done cause I was having dizzy spells and that came out fine, but could something form since then?! This has happend once before, but it doesnt happen often, the last time (the first time) was about 2 months ago. Please give me your opinions, I'm really worried!

How is your pulse when this happens? Do you feel any funny heart beats or racing?? It wouldn't hurt to have another echo to put your mind at ease. Do you have anyone in your family that has a heart condition? You need to find these things out and if so, mention it to your cardiologist...If you are having any of the above symptoms, then please go have it checked again...take care

nope, my pulse and heartbeat feel normal when the pain hits. The pain isnt constant either, if that matters. I read somewhere about having an "enlarged heart" and how thats fatal an stuff. If I have that would that of showed up on the echo a year ago?!
